Notebooks cost quite a lot of money and if you are buying a high end laptop, you might not buy another one like that for a couple of years. So in order to make sure that you what you are buying, I would advise you to read its review. It just takes a couple of minutes to read it but you get to know what your laptop is all about. As they say, forewarned is forearmed. I have bought a couple of laptops till now and initially I never bothered to read the reviews. Later on, I learn my lesson as I realized that some of the laptops didn’t perform as per my expectations.

Notebook reviews must contain all the information about the laptop. I am jotting down the important ones; make sure you don’t skip through any of these features while reading a review.

Display: See the resolution of the display in notebook reviews. I ideally, a 14-15 inch laptop has 1,366×768 resolution whereas anything above that has full HD resolution. If you are buying a big desktop replacement laptop (these start from 16 inch and up) it must have a Blu-ray player and must offer full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels or 1080p.

Keyboard: If you are a business user and are going to type a lot, check what’s written in notebook reviews about the keyboard. I use my notebook for updating my blogs so I type a lot. I have used loads of laptops in my labs and have found that chiclet styled or island button keyboards are the best. The buttons here are adequately spaced away from each other and hence minimizes mishits. If you still have no clue what I am talking about just Google ‘MacBook keyboard’

Weight: Notebook reviews always write about the weight of the units. I wouldn’t recommend anything but a Netbook if you travel a lot but don’t expect stellar performance from tiny Netbooks. If you are not going to travel at all or intend to get a laptop just for home use, a desktop replacement laptop is your best bet. If you wish for fast power and still want something that is easy on the shoulders check out the 15-16 inch main stream laptops.

Warranty: Reviewers conduct various tests on the laptops and write about how they fared. I conduct various tests on the laptops which I get for review. Read these sections and check out the scores.

Notebook Shopper is providing articles and review of best laptops, notebook reviews, Desktop Computer reviews, HP laptop reviews, Sony laptop reviews, dell laptop reviews, LG laptop reviews.

There is not a lot to choose between two Netbooks. This is because they come with largely the same specs. An Atom processor, 250 GB hard disk, 1 GB RAM and voila, you have your Netbook. There are lots of different Netbooks available in the market right now so how do you go choosing the best? Well, that’s what we are here for.

There are tons of Netbooks in the market right now and they are mainly categorized in to two parts: basic and high end. The latter doesn’t give any real value for money, they just come with eye candy on the body in order to make it more attractive. You will turn heads while you flaunt this Netbook at your local coffee shop. If looks matter a lot to you, and if you don’t mind spending extra, then get these computers.

Display is one of the most important factors in a Netbook. Best Netbook reviews must mention the performance of the screen. The screen must look vibrant, images and pictures too must look good. This might not be that important if you are not going to watch movies on your Netbook. But it wouldn’t hurt to have a good display at all.

We don’t expect Netbooks to have spacious keyboards basically because of their size limitations. But still things must be comfortable or else you might end up buying a separate keyboard! And this will certainly ruin the portable quotient of a Netbook. Check out any of the best Netbook reviews, they will certainly mention that the best Netbook has a good keyboard.

Check if the Netbook has some bells and whistles like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, etc. These are all value added features which give more value for your money. We would also readily recommend you a Netbook if they have such bells and whistles and if they cost a bit more than standard Netbook.

Battery life: This is the most important factor in a Netbook. Netbooks must have a big battery life. This is the only reason why Netbooks were made in the first place. These tiny computers sacrifice on performance but give a big battery life. While writing some of our best Netbook reviews, we have given preference to those who have big battery life. We have seen about eleven hours of battery life in Netbooks but 6-7 hours of battery back also makes an excellent Netbook. Any thing below that is not recommended.

There are many desktop and laptop computers at bargain basement prices in stores and in online stores, such as eBay and Amazon. But be careful, some aren’t the good deals they appear to be after careful examination.

Here’s a shopping tip that you should use when you examine that bargain you have uncovered in your shopping exploits: Some computer manufacturers have replaced dual-core processors with single-core Pentium and Celeron processors to reduce costs in the face of the sluggish economy. Several manufacturers have begun offering lower-priced desktops and laptops that on the surface look like full-performance systems. But many of these models use the less powerful and less costly Atom processors that are found in small, inexpensive netbook, or mini notebook computers.

If you grab one of those “bargains” there is a good chance you will find yourself frustrated by their sluggishness when you try to surf Web sites that have a lot of media content, watch videos, or play 3D games. It doesn’t matter if you plan to run Windows Vista or the new Windows 7, Microsofts new operating system, the higher-performance processors will almost always outperform lower-performance processors such as the Atom. The bottom line is when looking for your main desktop computer, or your primary laptop computer for general purpose computing, stay away from computers with single core processors such as some Atom and Celerons, and less than 1GB of memory. If you are looking for a low cost Netbook, mini notebook computer, choose a model that uses an Atom processor and has 1 or 2GB of memory, and at least a 160GB hard drive.

The old saying ‘you get what you pay for” is true when buying computers. If the price is too good to be true there is usually a reason, and it frequently is the type of processor that is under the covers. There are many sources online for advice, tips, and high performing products at good prices. Check the online sources before you start shopping for your next computer “bargain”.
